Granite
Granite, also known as natural stone, is quarried from the earth. As a
natural stone, it is scratch and heat resistant and can withstand heavy use.
When properly sealed, it is stain resistent. All granite countertops are
sealed when fabricated and periodically they need another application of the
sealer; which applies from a spray bottle in the same fashion as window cleaner
and simply wipes off. Granite Shield ® protection has recently become available as a
permanent sealing option for natural stone products.
Each slab of granite is a unique sampling of nature's exquisite artwork.
Many people prefer to visit the stone yeard to make their final selection of
granite; that way they can be certain the slab has the patterns they prefer.
At the time of selecting your slab, a deposit will be required to hold the
granite for your project.
